Customs Accredited Value Added Service Provider (VASP)
As a Customs-Accredited Value Added Service Provider (VASP), CDEC is now at the forefront of playing a major role in Philippine trade facilitation by offering the entire range of VASP services to all port users and stakeholders nationwide as authorized by the Bureau of Customs.
CDEC's VASP software called eTrade is currently available for use by customs brokers for electronic lodgment of import declaration (consumption, warehousing and transhipment entries) to the Bureau of Customs e2m IAS Computerization Project. Client Profile Registration System (CPRS) for importers, brokers, principal shipping lines, freight forwarders and all BOC stakeholders is already implemented since January 31, 2009. Electronic Submission of Manifest and Customs Declaration (Consumption and Warehousing) under Phase 3 of the project were already implemented last March 21 at Port of Batangas.
CDEC will progressively offer other services depending upon implementation timetable set by BOC.
